... High water along the maclaren river...

Heavy rainfall over the past two days has caused significant
rises in water levels on the maclaren river where it crosses the
Denali Highway. Water levels are near bankfull and will continue
rising for another two days. Other small streams north of the
Denali Highway are expected to be at or near bankfull levels.
Water levels will then begin to fall on Thursday morning as the
heavy rain ends.

Expected impacts:

Bankfull or minor flooding of low lying areas and swift currents
that will be hazardous to recreationalists. Do not attempt to
travel across flooded roads and trails. People camping or involved
in activities near streams in this area should be alert for
rising water levels and be prepared to move to higher ground.
