The Flood Warning continues for
the Ouachita River at Felsenthal.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10:00 am Monday the stage was 85.8 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 70.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 86.0 feet by
tomorrow morning.

Lake Wind Advisory

... Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9 am to 5 PM CST Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a lake Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 9 am to 5 PM CST Tuesday.

What remains of current Tropical Storm Ida will produce a tight
surface pressure gradient across the region tomorrow. Winds are
expected to increase late tonight and early on Tuesday... with
sustained speeds of 20 mph and gusts to 30 mph possible after 9 am.
Winds should begin to diminish by late afternoon tomorrow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
