The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a

* flood advisory for...
central Mohave County in northwestern Arizona...

* until 600 PM MST

* at 304 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms extending from near Temple Bar to Peach Springs.
This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Grand Canyon Ranch, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Grand
Canyon skywalk, Temple Bar campground, Dolan Springs, Diamond Creek
campground, Pierce Ferry and Antares roads, South Cove, Meadview,
Peach Springs and Temple Bar.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small

potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate Route.
