Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 4:11 PM MST Feb. 20, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 11 PM this evening
to 5 PM MST Friday above 3000 feet...

* what... heavy snow expected above 3000 feet. Total snow
accumulations of 3 to 6 inches is expected as low as 3000 feet
with locally higher amounts above 4000 feet.

* Where... San Carlos and Dripping Springs.

* When... from 11 PM this evening to 5 PM MST Friday.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions and
difficult driving conditions. Precipitation should start off
as snow, but change to mostly rain by Thursday afternoon for
elevations below 4000 ft. A changeover back to snow is then
possible starting Friday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
