... Freeze warning remains in effect from 4 am to 9 am EDT
Friday...

* locations... far northeast Georgia.

* Temperatures... lower 30s.

* Timing... 4 am Friday until 9 am Friday.

* Impacts... freezing temperatures may damage tender plants that
have already sprouted, budded or flowered.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.

High fire danger conditions this afternoon into the early evening
for north and central Georgia due to strong northwest winds.

While relative humidities of 25 percent or less are not expected
for 4 or more hours this afternoon, they may drop into the mid 20s
for a brief period of time.

Sustained winds of 15 to 20 mph can be expected along with gusts
of 23 to 28 mph.

With dry fuels, high fire danger conditions can be expected.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities
concerning whether your may burn outdoors. If you do burn
outside, use extreme caution.
