The Flood Warning continues for
the East Fork Des Moines River near Algona, or from Buffalo Creek
near Burt... to Lotts Creek near Livermore.
* Until early Friday morning.
* At 3:15 PM Saturday the stage was 19.2 feet, or 2.2 feet above
flood stage.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast... rise to 19.3 feet, or 2.3 feet above flood stage, this
evening. Then begin falling and go below flood stage early Friday
morning.
* Impact... at 19.0 feet, water affects US 169 south of Algona. US 169
near Saint Joseph will be cut off. Sections of US 18 east of US
169 are threatened.

the West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt, or from Joe reasoner
dam... to the East Fork Des Moines River.
* Until Thursday morning.
* At 3:15 PM Saturday the stage was 12.7 feet, or 2.7 feet above
flood stage.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast... continue falling and go below flood stage Thursday
morning.
* Impact... at 12.0 feet, the Murray bridge is closed east of Rutland.
Groundwater threatens the pump room at the water plant.
