the Flood Warning has been extended for
the Kankakee River at Davis
* from late tonight until further notice.
* At 8 PM Monday the stage was 9.3 feet and rising.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise above flood stage very early Tuesday
morning and crest near 13.2 feet around 6 PM Wednesday February
21. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* At 13.0 feet... extensive agricultural flooding is in progress.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.8 feet which occurred
on Aug 17 2016.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Tippecanoe river near Ora
* from Wednesday afternoon until further notice.
* At 9 PM Monday the stage was 8.7 feet and rising.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise above flood stage Wednesday afternoon
and crest at 14 feet Friday February 23.
* At 14.0 feet... extensive flooding of residences and low lying areas
begins.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.4 feet which occurred
on Apr 21 2013.

the Flood Warning has been extended for
the Yellow River at Plymouth
* from Tuesday evening to Monday February 26.
* At 10 PM Monday the stage was 9.9 feet and rising.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise above flood stage Tuesday night and
crest near 16.4 feet around 1 PM Thursday February 22 and fall
below flood stage around 4 am Sunday February 25.
* At 16.0 feet... residential areas and High School property flood.
Water from 1 to 3 feet deep affects southern and eastern sections
of the city.

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and
Northwest Ohio, including the following areas, in northern
Indiana, Adams, Allen in, Blackford, Cass in, De Kalb,
Elkhart, Fulton in, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, La
Porte, LaGrange, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Pulaski, St. Joseph
in, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, white, and Whitley. In
southwest Michigan, Berrien, branch, Cass mi, Hillsdale, and
St. Joseph mi. In Northwest Ohio, Allen OH, Defiance, Fulton
OH, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, and Williams.

* Through Wednesday afternoon

* additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected
through Wednesday morning, heaviest northwest of US 24 across
northern Indiana and southwest lower Michigan.
