Special Statement
Issued: 2:55 AM CST Jan. 16, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Snowfall tapering off but expect slick roads through
daybreak...
... Additional round of light snow possible this afternoon...

Whereas the bulk of the snowfall has ended with this Arctic cold
front... much colder temperatures behind the front likely will
create some slick spots through the early morning commute hours
today. Plan some extra time to make that commute and remember not
to tailgate... leaving plenty of stopping distance between you and
the vehicle in front of you.

Later this afternoon... a few snow showers are forecast to develop
as cold clouds aloft move over southern Indiana and near the Ohio
River. Significant accumulations are not expected at this
time... but some may receive an additional thin dusting by this
evening.
