The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 5 PM EST
Sunday.

* Location... South Coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This
includes the cities and towns of Fall River, New Bedford,
Mattapoisett, Chatham, Falmouth, Provincetown, Vineyard Haven,
Nantucket, Bristol, Narragansett, westerly, Newport, and New
Shoreham.

* Winds... southwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph, then
shifting to the west northwest Sunday afternoon.

* Timing... 10 PM tonight until 5 PM Sunday.

* Impacts... winds this strong are capable of Downing small tree
limbs and branches, possibly causing isolated power outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph are
expected, with gusts between 46 to 57 mph. Winds this strong are
capable of Downing small tree limbs and branches, possibly
causing isolated power outages. Driving can also be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
