... Wind Advisory in effect from 2 PM Friday to 11 am EDT
The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 2 PM Friday to 11 am EDT
Saturday. The high wind watch is no longer in effect.
* Winds... south to southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45
mph... becoming northwest after midnight Friday. Locally higher
gusts are possible across the higher terrain.
* Timing... Friday afternoon into Saturday morning.
* Impacts... gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts in excess of 45 mph are
expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially
for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
