... A line of strong thunderstorms will affect southern Tuscola...
Sanilac... Lapeer... southeastern Huron... northeastern Genesee and
northwestern St. Clair counties...

At 624 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Harbor Beach to near Millington.
Movement was southeast at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Lapeer, Imlay City, Sandusky, Almont, Croswell, Yale, Capac,
Marlette, Harbor Beach, Brown City, Lexington, Millington, North
Branch, Mayville, Ubly, Deckerville, Columbiaville, Port Sanilac,
Forestville and Dryden.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

* overview/potential impacts... northeast winds near 20 knots
will lead to high waves late tonight through Monday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

High wave action alone can make swimming difficult on days such
as this. Incoming waves in rapid succession can tire a swimmer
quickly.
