... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 6 PM CST Sunday...

* what... mixed precipitation. Snow accumulation of a dusting to 3
inches with the higher amounts over Pine, southern Saint Louis,
and Carlton counties. Ice accumulations of a light glaze. Wind
gusts increasing to 30 to 40 mph late tonight then to 35 to 45
mph Sunday morning. Some gusts around 50 mph close to Lake
Superior.

* Where... portions of east central, north central and northeast
Minnesota.

* When... until 6 PM CST Sunday.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions. Patchy
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty
winds could bring down tree branches. The cold wind chills as
low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in
as little as 30 minutes.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
