Now A wide swath of steady rain with numerous embedded showers and scattered thunderstorms...is located over the west half of Minnesota...and out across the Dakotas...with snow in the western Dakotas. The full rain area extends all the way south to Texas and New Mexico. No let up in the rain is expected in western Minnesota. The rest of the morning hours will see just a few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms moving further and further into eastern Minnesota...northwest and west central Wisconsin. Rainfall amounts will be light...from a few hundredths...to a tenth of an inch or so...except for a few areas that could get a couple tenths from a heavy shower by 1030 am. |
