Now A band of showers and isolated thunderstorms east northeast at 20 mph....affecting areas from Muscotah and Atchison Kansas through St Joseph...Bethany...and Princeton through 6 PM. Later this evening these storms will sag south affecting areas from Kansas City through Chillicothe and Kirksville. Occasional cloud to ground lightning will occur with these storms as well as moderate to locally heavy rainfall. Expected rainfall amounts range between one half an inch and one inch...with locally higher amounts possible. |
