The National Weather Service in Great Falls has extended the

* flood advisory for...
snowmelt in...
Glacier County in north central Montana...

* until 215 PM MDT Wednesday

* at 130 PM MDT, emergency management reported snowmelt causing
minor flooding over portions of Glacier County.

The flooding is beginning to recede in most areas, but some minor
flooding continues to impact areas by Highway 213, east of Winkler
school Road.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

period from late on April 22 through the afternoon of April 23. This
tied the all-time maximum 24-hour amount for April at the Airport.
The record was previously set on April 4-5, 2006.

This was the wettest 24-hour period at Bozeman since 1.43-inches was
measured on June 6-7, 2007.
