Flood Warning
Issued: 10:53 AM MDT Jun. 22, 2017 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone near Belfry affecting Carbon
County.
* Until Saturday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 10 am Thursday the stage was 7.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river is expected to rise Thursday night and crest
around 8.2 feet early Friday morning. River levels will fall
Friday afternoon and then rise again Friday night to around flood
stage by Saturday morning. Water levels will then fall below flood
stage Saturday afternoon, and continue falling through Sunday.

The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone at Edgar affecting Carbon
County.
* From this afternoon to Saturday evening... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 10 am Thursday the stage was 8.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river is expected to rise to around flood stage
late Thursday afternoon and early Thursday evening. After dropping
Thursday night, the river should crest around 8.7 feet late Friday
afternoon and early Friday evening. The river will fall some on
Saturday, but may still be close to bankfull Saturday afternoon,
before dropping well below flood stage Saturday night.
