Through 1 am EST (midnight cst)...scattered large areas of rain with embedded showers...will move out of Alabama and Georgia and gradually overspread southeast Tennessee and extreme southwest North Carolina. The rain and showers will move mainly north at 15 to 20 mph. At the onset...much of the precipitation will remain aloft or evaporate before reaching the ground.
