... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this

* what... freezing drizzle and light snow are expected. Up to one
tenth of an inch of ice accumulation followed by total snow
accumulations of 1 to 2 inches. North winds of 25 to 30 mph
could gust to around 45 mph.

* Where... portions of north central Kansas and south central
Nebraska generally northwest of an Osceola, to Hastings, to
Stockton Kansas line.

* When... areas of freezing drizzle early this morning will change
over to snow by late morning or early this afternoon.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions. Areas of
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Icy roads
could impact the morning and evening commutes. The combination
of gusty winds and ice could cause sporadic power outages and
tree damage.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
