... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM MST /6 PM
CST/ this afternoon...

* timing/duration... through the day today.

* Snow/ice accumulations... snow accumulations of less than one
inch to near two inches is possible through the day today.
Additionally... freezing drizzle and freezing rain will precede
and mix with the light snow to produce areas of accumulating
ice ranging from a hundredth of an inch to around one tenth of
an inch. Ice accumulations will be greater across central and
southern Kansas.

* Other impacts... expect roads... bridges and overpasses to become
slick. Slow down. Give yourself additional time to reach your
destination during this busy Holiday travel time.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use extra caution
while driving.
