accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, with localized amounts up to 8
inches, are expected.
* Where... Jemez Mountains, west slopes Sangre de Cristo
Mountains, east slopes Sangre de Cristo Mountains, upper Rio
Grande Valley, lower Chama River Valley, Santa Fe Metro area,
middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro area,
lower Rio Grande Valley, Sandia and Manzano Mountains and
* When... from 8 PM this evening to 4 PM MST Sunday.
* Additional details... while snow amounts in lower elevations will
be quite light, the rapid onset of freezing temperatures will
cause travel conditions to abruptly deteriorate. Winds gusting
as high as 45 to 55 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting
snow, especially in higher terrain.
