Winter Storm Warning in effect until 10 am PST this morning... Through 4 am PST...an on going weather system will drop significant snows on White Pine County...especially over summits and passes. Highways 6...50...and 93 will be most affected...with western White Pine County receiving the most travel problems. Roads will likely be snow packed and slick and visibility will drop to less than a half mile at times. Expecting some drifting of snow on summits as well. More information will be issued as it becomes available.

Cloudy in the morning then becoming partly sunny. Valleys...numerous snow showers in the morning...then isolated snow showers in the afternoon. Mountains...widespread snow showers in the morning...then isolated snow showers in the afternoon. Snow accumulation up to 3 inches. Highs 35 to 44 valleys...29 to 39 mountains. North winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight

Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows 17 to 23 valleys...11 to 21 mountains. Southwest winds around 10 mph.

Wednesday

Scattered snow showers in the morning...then numerous snow showers in the afternoon. Snow accumulation up to 2 inches. Highs 31 to 41. South winds around 10 mph shifting to the north in the afternoon.
