High Wind Warning

... High Wind Warning in effect from 10 am this morning to 8 PM
EST this evening...

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a High Wind
Warning... which is in effect from 10 am this morning to 8 PM EST
this evening. The high wind watch is no longer in effect.

* Winds... southerly winds of 20 to 30 mph with higher gusts are
expected through mid morning. Winds will become southwest behind
a cold front and increase to 25 to 40 mph with gusts to 60 mph
this afternoon. Winds will begin to diminish after sunset.

* Timing... the strongest winds are expected this afternoon.

* Impacts... damaging winds are possible that may bring down
trees and power lines.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A High Wind Warning is issued when sustained winds of 40 mph are
expected for at least an hour... with gusts of 58 mph or greater
at any time. Damage to trees... power lines... and property are
possible with wind of this magnitude. If you have a high profile
vehicles be extra careful until the wind subsides. Stay tuned to
weather radio for further details or updates.
