northeastern Comanche County in southwestern Oklahoma...

southeastern Caddo County in southwestern Oklahoma...

* until 815 PM CDT

* at 724 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles east of Anadarko to 6 miles northwest of
Cyril to near Apache to 4 miles northeast of Lake Lawtonka, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

Hazard... tennis Ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... people and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           Mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
Chickasha, Anadarko, Tuttle, Elgin, Apache, Rush Springs, Fletcher,
Cyril, Alex, Verden, cement, Amber, Medicine Park, Pocasset, Norge,
Boone, Tabler, Lake Chickasha, Lake Lawtonka and Agawam.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 48 and 97.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

These are dangerous storms. Prepare immediately for large destructive
hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should
move to shelter inside a strong building, and stay away from
windows.

* at 733 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is occurring or is imminent.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Apache, Boone, Northern Lake Ellsworth and Stecker.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in the
warned area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
