This includes the cities of Anadarko, Archer City, Blackwell,
Blanchard, Chickasha, Concho, Crowell, Duncan, El Reno, Enid,
Frederick, Guthrie, Hennessey, Henrietta, Hinton, Hobart,
Holliday, Kingfisher, Knox City, Lakeside City, Lawton, Lindsay,
Moore, Munday, Mustang, Newcastle, Norman, Okarche,

* flood advisory for...
eastern Kingfisher County in central Oklahoma...
northwestern Grady County in central Oklahoma...
southeastern Caddo County in southwestern Oklahoma...
northwestern Oklahoma County in central Oklahoma...
western Logan County in central Oklahoma...
west central Payne County in central Oklahoma...
Canadian County in central Oklahoma...

* until 1100 PM CDT

* at 752 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to one inch of rain has already fallen to the west and
southwest of the Oklahoma City area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
western Oklahoma City, El Reno, Chickasha, Guthrie, Anadarko,
Kingfisher, Yukon, Bethany, Mustang, Warr Acres, Tuttle, Piedmont,
Hennessey, Union City, Minco, Crescent, Okarche, Cashion, Verden
and Dover.

Additional rainfall of one to two inches is expected over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A flood advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
