Now An area of light to moderate snow showers will continue to develop and move southeast at 20 to 25 mph across most of northeast Tennessee and southwestern Virginia. Precipitation amounts will generally be around a few hundredths of an inch. Snowfall amounts should be between a dusting to less than three-quarters of an inch per hour...except in the higher elevations where heavier snow showers could produce 1 to 2 inches of new snow per hour.
