The NWS Storm Prediction Center has cancelled
Severe Thunderstorm Watch number 214 issued at 455 PM CDT for portions of

         Arkansas
         Oklahoma
         Texas


850 PM CDT sun Jun 24 2018

The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
southwest Kansas
northeast New Mexico
Oklahoma Panhandle
Texas Panhandle

* effective this Sunday night and Monday morning from 850 PM
until 400 am CDT.

* Primary threats include...
scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2
    inches in diameter possible
scattered damaging wind gusts to 65 mph possible

Summary... storms will become widespread in the wake of a cold front
pushing south across the southern High Plains. Large hail and severe
wind gusts are possible.

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch area is approximately along and 105
statute miles east and west of a line from 15 miles south of
Amarillo TX to 30 miles north of Elkhart KS. For a complete

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Remember... a Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
