Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 2:33 PM MST Feb. 20, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning now in effect from 5 PM this afternoon to
9 am MST Friday...

* what... moderate to heavy snow rates expected to develop by this
evening through Friday. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 16
inches over the higher terrain along highways 275 and 95 from
Blanding to National bridges to the Green River. Lower
elevations from Mexican Hat to Bluff to the 4 corners 4 to 8
inches. Locally higher accumulations are possible in areas.

* Where... portions of southeast Utah and southwest Colorado.

* When... from 5 PM this afternoon to 9 am MST Friday.

* Additional details... travel will become very difficult to
impossible at times. These hazardous Road conditions could
impact the morning or evening commute. Power lines could be
impacted by the persistent moderate to heavy snowfall rates. A

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
