Winter Storm Warning

... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 3 am to 10 PM EST

The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has
issued a Winter Storm Warning for snow and sleet... which is in
effect from 3 am to 10 PM EST Thursday. The Winter Storm Watch is
no longer in effect.

* Precipitation types... wintry mix... then snow... potentially
heavy at times.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches... along with
around a trace of ice.

* Timing... rain changing to snow and sleet late tonight. Snow and
sleet will transition to all snow by midday Thursday. Snow and
sleet may be heavy at times.

* Temperatures... in the mid 30s... dropping into the mid 20s.

* Winds... north 10 to 15 mph.

* Impacts... roads will be snow covered... making travel dangerous.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
