Statement as of 9:58 PM EDT on March 30, 2015

... Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Tuesday morning
through Tuesday afternoon for high winds... low relative humidity
and low fuel moisture for portions of northern and central
Virginia as well as southern Maryland.

* Humidity... 20 to 30 percent. The lowest values are expected
across central Virginia Tuesday afternoon.

* Winds... southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts 35 to 45 mph. The
highest gusts will be along the ridge tops of the Blue Ridge
mountains and Potomac Highlands.

* Fuel moisture... 5 to 8 percent.

* Impacts... the combination of gusty winds... low relative humidity
and low fuel moisture may enhance the threat for the spread of
wildfires late Tuesday morning through Tuesday afternoon.
