... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am PST
Wednesday above 2000 feet...

* what... heavy snow occurring. Additional snow accumulations of 4
to 8 inches are expected.

* Where... Cascades of Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, and King
counties, including Mount Baker ski area, Stevens Pass, and
Snoqualmie Pass.

* When... until 6 am PST Wednesday.

* Additional details... as of 10 PM PST, new snowfall amounts for
Tuesday were in the 10 to 18 inches range. If you are planning
to travel into the Cascades, be prepared for the possibility of
difficult travel conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions are occurring. If you must travel, keep an extra
flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an
