Winter Weather Advisory
Expires 7:00 AM EST on January 27, 2015

Statement as of 2:37 PM EST on January 26, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 am EST
Tuesday...

* precipitation type... snow... possibly heavy at times.

* Accumulations... 2 to 4 inches... locally higher on the ridges
above 2000 feet.

* Timing... snow will continue tonight before ending Tuesday
morning. The heaviest snow is expected tonight.

* Temperatures... mid to upper 20s along the ridges above 2000
feet to the lower 30s in the valleys.

* Winds... northeast 5 to 10 mph... becoming north tonight into
Tuesday around 10 to 15 mph.

* Impacts... under the heaviest snow bands... roads will be snow
covered and slippery with visibilities being reduced to near
one-quarter mile at times. The combination of snow covered roads
and low visibility will make traveling dangerous.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
