Monterey Bay...Gulf of the Farallones...and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuaries... Light to moderate southerly winds will continue over the northern waters as a weak cold front slides through the region. The weak front will also bring a slight chance for scattered showers over the northern waters today. Northwest flow will return over the weekend as high pressure rebuilds in the eastern Pacific. Northwest winds will likely increase late in the weekend as a storm system approaches from the west.
