An area of light rain slowly moving east of Mississippi into northwest Alabama is periodically mixing with light snow or flurries this afternoon. As of 2pm...reports of light snow mixing with rain were received from Iuka Mississippi and in locations west of Muscle Shoals in Lauderdale County Alabama. These periods of flurries will be very short lived and are expected to quickly transition back to rain. The precipitation will move eastward across north Alabama and southern middle Tennessee...arriving near the I-65 corridor around 3pm.
