W to NW winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts to 35 kt...diminishing to 15 to 25 kt late. Combined seas 7 to 10 ft dominant period 7 seconds. Slight chance of showers.

... Gale Warning now in effect from 3 PM Friday to 3 am PDT
Saturday...

* winds and seas... west winds will increase to 20 to 30 kt with
gusts to 35 kt by late Friday afternoon and continue into the
evening hours... strongest over the western portion. Steep seas
will build to 7 to 10 feet by Friday evening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occuring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
Harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.
