... Lake Wind Advisory in effect until 6 am CST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a lake
Wind Advisory... which is in effect until 6 am CST Monday.

* Event... south winds this morning will become northwest behind a
cold front this afternoon and evening. Expect winds of 15 to 25
mph with gusts to 35 mph.

* Areas affected... a large part of Arkansas.

* Timing... winds will increase this morning and will continue to
be gusty through tonight.

* Impacts... boaters will experience rough and choppy conditions on
area rivers and lakes. High profile vehicles on area roadways
may also experience some hazardous driving conditions due to
strong Crosswinds.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
