Now Rain showers are continuing across portions of the northern and central Sacramento Valley and the adjacent foothills and mountains. At 730 PM...the heaviest showers were located in the mountains of Placer...Nevada...Sierra and western Plumas counties. Another area of heavier showers was moving into central Shasta County. Through 930 PM...look for most of the shower activity to continue in the foothills and mountains with isolated showers in the Valley North of Interstate 80. Some brief heavier rain or small hail will be possible with these showers as the system pushes off to the east. |
