Through 500 am...an area of showers and embedded thunderstorms will track northeast at 20 to 30 mph across the Palouse and Shoshone County. Some of the heavier storms will continue to spread over the Idaho Palouse and into southwest Shoshone County...in areas around St. Maries to Deary...to Clarkia and Calder. Storms are expected to approach I 90 between Rose Lake... Kellogg and the Montana border between 400 and 430 am. Storms will contain heavy downpours...causing brief reductions in visibility. Storms will also contain wind gusts up to 40 mph and possible small hail...in addition to occasional lightning.
