Island de and for Delaware Bay... High pressure over the marine area will dominate our weather into Tuesday. A cold front is forecast to cross our region early Tuesday. High pressure then builds into the Great Lakes region Wednesday into Thursday. Hurricane Ida was forecast to move into the northeastern Gulf Coast region. The pressure difference between the remnants of Ida and the high over the Great Lakes will create strong and gusty winds through the middle of the coming week. The high pressure area is then forecast to build into our region during Thursday and continue into Friday.
