Island de and for Delaware Bay... An area of high pressure anchored just to our east will dominate our weather into Tuesday. A cold front is forecast to cross our region Tuesday. High pressure then builds into the Great Lakes region Wednesday into Thursday. Tropical cyclone Ida is forecast to move into the northeastern Gulf Coast region later today. The pressure difference between the remnants of Ida and the high over the Great Lakes will create gusty winds across our area during the middle portion of the week. Another high pressure system is then forecast to build into our region later Thursday and Friday.
