Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue across the northern mountains...northeast Highlands and northeast plains through the late night hours. Most of the activity will move toward the northeast at speeds from 35 to 40 mph. Stronger storms will be capable of producing a brief heavy downpour with wind gusts up to 50 mph and cloud to ground lightning. Through 200 am MDT...precipitation will favor the area from Chama to Taos and Angel Fire...and also between Raton and Clayton.
