dense fog advisory until 9 am this morning... Areas of dense fog will continue over parts of central Maryland...eastern West Virginia...northern Virginia including the Potomac Highlands and Shenandoah Valley early this morning. The fog will reduce visibilities during the morning commute to less than one quarter mile at times...before dissipating during mid morning. Use extra caution when driving by slowing down and using your low beam headlights while leaving extra distance between the vehicle ahead of you.
