Issued: 8:27 PM CDT Jul. 19, 2018 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* urban and small stream flood advisory for...
central Okaloosa County in northwestern Florida...

* until 1130 PM CDT.

* At 825 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms
producing very heavy rainfall across north central Okaloosa
County. The heaviest rains were falling from Baker to Crestview to
along Interstate 10 east of Crestview, where up to 2 to 2.5 inches
of rain has fallen in the past hour. Excessive runoff from heavy
rains will cause flooding of creeks, streams, urban and low lying
locations in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Crestview and Baker.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
