Experts say that’s no coincidence – Denver International Airport tops the list of the most turbulent airports in the U.S., thanks to a perfect storm of mountainous terrain, unpredictable winds and wild weather patterns. As far as other top airports on the list like Bozeman, Albuquerque and Salt Lake City, pilots describe the descent like riding a mechanical bull.
