Annual Tulip Festival Witnesses Spectacular Goose Invasion
Thousands of geese descended upon millions of tulips at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in Washington State. It’s the last snow goose flock in the valley, as many have departed on their journey north to Russia to nest. The geese might just be fueling up on some tulip blossoms before heading on the 3,000-mile trip to the nesting grounds on Wrangel Island.
